Litter picking is being done all year round by volunteers on an individual basis — please contact us if you would like to help out with this.

Friends Amblers

Wednesday 10th December 2025, 14:00

Join our volunteer walk leaders for a FREE gentle, social amble around the park.

This group is aimed at those who would like to walk around the park but lack the confidence to do it alone. Whatever your level, we can support you.

There is no need to book a place, just meet at the Cabrol Road car park entrance at 2pm and wear suitable footwear for walking.

Please meet in Farnborough Road car park at 10am. We aim to finish around 1pm.

We will be working under the supervision of the Blackwater Valley Countryside Partnership.

Numbers are for this working party are limited to 18 and you must register if you want to participate. Everyone is welcome but please note that anyone under 18 must have the consent of their parent/guardian to attend. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to supervise them.

Monday 22nd December at 5pm.

We will be holding this year’s Where’s Rudolph? Twilight Trail on Monday 22 December, starting at 5 pm.

This is a free, fun, family event. Please bring a torch as it will be dark, and wear sturdy footwear. The trail will lead you around the park in search of Rudolph and his friends.

We look forward to seeing you.

Meet at Cabrol Road Car Park

Last entry 5:30pm. No need to book - just turn up. All children to be accompanied by an adult. Donations welcome.
